Bob Barrow

Head Winemaker

Bob graduated from Virginia Tech with a BS in Biology and a Chemistry Minor in 1998. He worked both in the vineyard and the winery at Williamsburg Winery in Virginia before starting at Brotherhood in 1999. A native of Dutchess County, Bob spends his time in the lab and the cellars creating Brotherhood’s blends and riddling or disgorging our Méthode Champenoise sparkling wine. In the fall, he can be found out on the crush pad pressing the tons of grapes that Brotherhood processes every year.

Maria Sohail

Quality Assurance Manager

Maria Sohail graduated with an MS in Food Science from the University of Georgia in 2012 and a BS in Biology from George Mason University in 2008. Her background includes food safety consulting and microbiological testing of foods and beverages in contract laboratories. Maria oversees the food safety and quality management program at Brotherhood Winery, including internal and external audit programs.

Kelly Ong

Lab Manager

Kelly Ong graduated with a BS in Chemistry from Marist College in 2010. She works closely with the winemaking team in our quality control laboratory, analyzing blends and performing quality analyses throughout the winemaking process. She also assists with product development for our clients, as well as our product and raw material traceability program.
